Dress comfortably (but picture ready) in appropriate shoes for walking. We always advise layers. For Behind the Cellar Door, some wineries will utilize their cellar or warehouse which are temperature specific to house wine. We advise having a jacket available.

Is the event ADA accessible?

Yes, each winery venue offers ADA parking accessibility.

If you lose or break your glass or wristband, visit or call the Amador Vintners office  (9310 Pacific St, Plymouth). They will have your information on file. 209.245.6992.

What was NEW for BCD 2020?

This year we introduced a passport that not only serves as your event program, but also includes return visit offers from participating wineries and local businesses. Offers are good for one-time use, in person visits with passport in hand. All offers will be good through 12/18/20.

Can I bring my two-legged or four-legged baby?

We love children and pets, but we ask that you please do not bring them to this event. This is a 21 and over event. Due to the California Health Code, pets/fur babies (except service animals) are not allowed where food is being served. We also strive to consider the experience of others. A dog allergy can encumber a taster’s senses. We appreciate your consideration.

What if I purchased a ticket and can no longer attend?

We understand that emergencies happen. All purchases are final and while we do not offer refunds, you can transfer your tickets to another party (21 or over). Contact the Amador Vintners Office via phone 209.245.6992 to modify the ticket holder. Please notify the recipient of your tickets that they will be required to show ID at pick up.

What is the expectation of me at this event?

All attendees must have a ticket. Participants must be 21 or older to consumer alcohol. Be prepared to show your photo ID at all wineries you visit. Tasting room representatives will not serve wine to anyone who appears intoxicated. Refunds will not be issued to those no longer served. You clearly got your money’s worth.

Designated drivers may be under 21 but will not be served any alcohol.

Please consider limiting cologne and perfume as to not interfere with the tasting experience. Just come camera ready and freshly showered. ;0)
